Campbell Hoping for a bid to the College Cup after 4-3 loss in Atlantic Sun Final

Campbell(14-6) gives up a goal to Jacksonville in the 89th minute of play ending their 12 game winning streak. The Atlantic Sun Finals hosted the two top seeds in the conference, but this time the underdog prevailed. Campbell came into today's game with an 8-0 record at home and giving up only one goal in its last 7 matches.

Richard Jata earned All Tournament Team honors, but was hoping for more. Jata scored twice on a well placed header and a 35 yard blast to give his team a 3-1 lead at halftime, but JU's constant pressure paid off in the end. Campbell is looking for a bid to the College Cup, but if their season ends here Jata ended it on a fine note, scoring 12 goals and assisting on 4 more to lead the team with 28 points.

Campbell got robbed....beat UNC for the 2nd year in a row....won 12 straight. UNC lost 5 straight including 1st round of their conference tournament and yet they still get a bid....how jaded this selection is! Campbell deserves way more Recognition!!
